The calm before the storm...  I took these first two photos Wednesday morning as we were waiting for the bus in our village. (I usually drive, but our car was getting serviced.)

This sunset photo I took on Friday after my walk. This is looking up the hill of our village.

Here is just a bit of a taste of the kinds of winds we had. These are three trees that are in in our small garden.

Super Typhoon Mankhut after it crossed over the northern part of the Philippines then as it was approaching Hongkong.

It was very wide... nearly 900 KM (560 miles). I like this site, windy.com. The image below is the Hong Kong Royal Observatories Satellite image.
